Belgian and farmhouse
Belgian Golden Strong Ale
Pale, effervescent and very strong, finishing so dry that the alcohol arrives without warning. Sugar in the boil is what keeps a 9% beer this light on its feet.

What goes wrong
Building it from malt alone. Without 15 to 20% simple sugar it finishes heavy and the whole illusion collapses.
